Shacarra was born in New Zealand and raised in Queensland where she completed her Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice and her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at Griffith University and Bond University.
Recognised for academic excellence, Shacarra received the Griffith Academic Award in several years throughout her studies, earning entry into the prestigious Golden Key Society for Academic Excellence.
 
Shortly after Shacarra became admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland, Shacarra joined Beck Law, where she fulfills her role as a solicitor, specialising in Family Law, Domestic Violence, and some Criminal Law. With a comprehensive understanding of various legal arenas, Shacarra actively appears in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, Magistrates Court, District Court, and Supreme Court. Shacarra’s expertise extends beyond the Court by assisting clients through mediation striving to receive the best outcome possible and to avoid litigation.
 
Shacarra is committed to providing clients with sensible and pragmatic advice to achieve a resolution in timely, reasonable, and cost-effective manner. Shacarra takes pride in not only providing clients with legal advice but being able to support clients and offer them empathy and understanding while guiding them through their legal journey.
 
Beyond her legal pursuits, Shacarra finds joy in traveling camping, spending quality time with family and friends, indulging in reading, exploring insightful podcasts. Dedicated to her passion for the law and supporting client’s, Shacarra looks forward to continuing her impactful journey in the legal realm.
